Rockwell Collins VC-114 Transportable System
The VC-114 is composed of the 26J4 case, a 671 Receiver-Exciter, and the 548S-3 Amplifier-Coupler. In addition, a choice of the 514A-4 or 514A-7 control unit is possible. The use of the 548S-5 Amplifier/Coupler is not possible due to the special case that the S-5 unit has. The unit is also capable of supporting data services to include secure voice or high-speed data.
The unit will have the system capabilities as the normal 718 Series radio system.
